Our Coast Guard-certified fishing guides are the best in the business, boasting years of experience fishing our pristine Alaskan waters. Whether you’re on the hunt for salmon, halibut, trout or rockfish, our team of first-class guides will take you and up to three friends to where the fish are biting -- and bring along a tasty picnic lunch, too.

  • David Krauth

Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Dave graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Civil Engineering. Prior to moving to Alaska in early 2016, he spent time in California and Colorado, developing an appreciation for all things outdoors. As the new General Manager of Salmon Falls Fishing Resort, Dave is most looking forward to meeting our guests from around the country and helping them experience the wonder of this gorgeous part of the world. When he’s able to break away from his day-to-day responsibilities, Dave can be found throwing a line in one of the local lakes or streams, scouting the perfect location to do some big game hunting or simply enjoying the amazing landscape of Ketchikan, his new home.

  • Brittany McElhaney

Back in the summer of 2009, Brittany stepped off a cruise ship onto the docks of Ketchikan  and joked that she dreamed of living in our quiet little town one day. Seven years later, that dream became a reality. As Rooms Division Manager, she is excited to personalize each guest’s stay and ensure Salmon Falls Fishing Resort is as much fun off the water as it is on.

  • Marnie Rosenburg

Marnie was born and raised in Manitoba, Canada, where she spent most of her free time camping. After moving to Arizona with her family, she began a management post at the Holiday Inn and Suites Phoenix Airport North. She returns to her beloved northern outdoor life as our Front Office Manager.

  • Rory Holcomb

Marina Manager Rory Holcomb grew up working on charter fishing boats on the East Coast.  His love of the outdoors started in his hometown of Savannah, GA. He attended Brevard College where he majored in Wilderness Leadership and minored in Environmental Studies.    As Rory continued to explore his options to work outdoors, he became a whitewater raft guide here in Alaska in 2003 and has been living here seasonally ever since.  Eventually he returned to his love of charter fishing, and even worked commercially here in Alaska. In 2016, Rory joined the Salmon Falls Team and is excited to be living here in Ketchikan year-round with the love of his life, his 16-month old son, who shares his father’s love of the outdoors.
